About SaySexology
Good question. Let us explain: it started as a joke about how words sound different in other languages, and turned into a whole education project.
How we got here, and where we’re going
It all started with a word
The YouTube channel Say Sexology was born out of a simple idea: words sound wildly different across languages. “SEX” in Indonesian? Biological sex. “BLUE” in French? Just the colour. The jokes practically write themselves, and behind each one, a real conversation starts.
And then came this website
Say Sexology is where the laughs lead somewhere meaningful: a space to explore sex education, relationships, health and identity, seriously but never boringly. The channel gets you through the door. This site takes you further.
What you’ll find here
Sex Education, STIs & Sexual Health, Love & Relationships, Gender & Identity: all written in plain English, with zero shame and a little humour. Real information, for real people, about real life.
Our philosophy
Laughing is a great way to start a serious conversation. We believe curiosity, even when it starts with a giggle, is the beginning of real understanding. No lectures, no shame, no outdated taboos. Just honest, warm, slightly ironic education.
